Matthew graduated from Performers College with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre then went on to gain a BA Hons in Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting.
He worked professionally as a dancer appearing on the Royal Variety Show and X Factor behind ‘Take That’ before embarking on a number of cruise contracts for Costa Cruises and P&O Australia.
Matthew has appeared in a number of musical productions for Worcester Repertory Company as well as a series of TV adverts.
As a choreographer he has worked with Simon Callow on Seven Ages of Man and created the UK Premier of Bombshell: The Story of Marilyn Monroe and choreographed 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for Unknown Productions.
Matthew has taught students of all ages ranging from 7-20 at performing arts schools in London such as Sylvia Young and Jigsaw Theatre Arts. Matthew has also been invited to teach at the LIPA 4-19 summer school the past 2 years.
Currently Matthew is on the teaching staff at Urdang Academy, Creative Academy, Liverpool Media Academy, University of Chichester and The Arden School of Theatre.
He is thrilled to have been asked to teach at LIPA 4-19 where his training began as a child and attended for 10yrs.
