‚ÄčLIPA 4-19 Acting Teacher

Jonathan graduated from John Moores University with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts. Whilst at the institution, Jonathan gained experience of directing and acting and presented a variety of plays and productions, and management skills.

He has been a valuable member of the LIPA 4:19 team for over 10 years teaching drama at the Liverpool site. He was also the Wirral Academy principal for two years.

Jonathan has experience of delivering drama workshops to children of all ages and has worked freelance for drama schools in the North West area where he prepared students for LAMDA and other types of examinations.

He trained as a teacher and has gained a wealth of experience working with young people through a number of teaching posts within local schools and runs his own company sending drama projects into schools and academies.

Jonathan has worked in project leadership on the Hope Street Project teaching drama projects for the police and in prisons. He also works as an actor and toured Spain working for Pavana, Spain's second largest theatre company.

He also has many credits for professional television and theatre and is a qualified first aider.
