Anthony is a Liverpool-based singer-songwriter, vocalist, producer, performer and frontman of alternative rock band The Double Nines.
Anthony trained in Songwriting & Production at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and previously studied Music at the Miami Dade Honors College, where he won 1st Place in the 2022 Miami International Festival of the Arts Composition Competition.
As a performer, Anthony has played numerous sold-out shows across Liverpool, Manchester and London, performing at some of Liverpool’s best-known music venues, including The Cavern Club, Rough Trade, The Jacaranda and EBGBS. With The Double Nines, he has also performed on the Main Stage at LoopFest 2025 at Shrewsbury Castle and was featured on BBC Introducing LIVE at The Cavern Club.
Anthony’s work with The Double Nines has received recognition from a range of major radio and music media platforms, including BBC Introducing Merseyside, Mersey Radio, Liverpool Noise and Louder Than War. The band has also featured several times on the front page of Liverpool Noise. These experiences have given Anthony valuable first-hand knowledge of performing live, releasing original music and developing an identity as an emerging artist within the UK independent music scene.
Alongside performing, Anthony is the lead songwriter and producer for The Double Nines, writing original alternative and indie-rock music and helping to shape the band’s creative direction. His experience spans songwriting, studio recording, vocal production, arranging, live performance and artist development, giving him a strong understanding of both the creative and technical sides of contemporary music.
Anthony also has extensive experience as a singing teacher, having taught in schools and performing arts settings across the North West. He teaches musical theatre, contemporary and pop singing to students of different ages, abilities and musical backgrounds, helping young performers prepare for LAMDA examinations, auditions and live performances.
As a singing teacher, Anthony brings his experience as a working vocalist and performer directly into the classroom. He is passionate about helping young singers develop healthy vocal technique, confidence, musical expression and their own individual identity as performers. His teaching encourages students not only to sing accurately, but to understand the emotion and storytelling behind a song, become confident performing in front of others and, above all, enjoy making music.
Anthony is delighted to be back at LIPA and looks forward to inspiring and supporting the next generation of performers.
