Dance teacher Liverpool Saturday academy
Jamie-Leigh graduated at Liverpool Theatre School where she gained a National Diploma in professional Musical Theatre.
During her training she performed In a variety of shows. She successfully gained a place at The Americans dance group where she travelled to Hollywood and won the competition, she then went on to perform at Disneyland in Los Angeles.
Her performance as a dancer with Ken Dodd in his Happiness show demonstrated her ability to choreograph. She gained her IDTA freestyle award in 2007 which kick started her teaching career in various academies teaching children of all ages.
Her theatre credits include Bill Kenwright’s ‘Whistle Down the Wind’ and ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’.
She also performed as a backing singer/dancer for various artists including Olly Murs.
TV credits include Hollyoaks and Grange Hill. She was also featured as a lead dancer for ‘Video-Ink’ and ‘Edge Exclusive’ music video.
Jamie-Leigh went on to become a choreographer for Shone Productions and has choreographed and performed in many pantomimes including ‘Snow White’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Peter Pan’.
As well as teaching, Jamie-Leigh has now moved on to producing and is the co-founder of ‘Dreamworld Entertainments’ where she has produced and choreographed ‘Freezin’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Cinderella’, ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
