Samantha trained at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where she received her Doctorate in Musical Arts degree. She also trained at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, and the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music
Samantha is an Associate Tutor of Performing Arts at Edge Hill University, and she has over 10 years of teaching experience at the primary, college, university and adult levels. Her research interests focus on diversity and accessibility in youth theatre.
Samantha has performed with over a dozen opera and theatre companies and professional singing ensembles in the States, including Verismo Opera Chicago, the Carnegie Theatre, Cincinnati Opera, the Cincinnati Symphony Chorus, the Vocal Arts Ensemble, and the Bay View Music Festival.
She continues to perform as an opera singer and musical theatre actress throughout the US and the UK and holds memberships with Equity and AOTOS
