LIPA 4:19 Early Start Teacher

Sylvia is qualified in early years education and child care gained through Cheshire County Council. Sylvia has previously worked in education as a pre-school teacher and supervisor for many years. She was also the SENCO, a school governor and worked on a voluntary basis in her local primary school, where she was instrumental in all aspects of performances by the school team from initial ideas through to final productions.

Sylvia has completed a course in music and movement in drama and is a mother of two, who both attended LIPA 4:19 from the first term until they were 19. She is now training towards her R.C.M. diploma in singing and holds a first aid certificate.

Sylvia has worked at LIPA 4:19 since it began and has had experience with exams in speech, drama and dance for the children in her classes.
