LIPA 4:19 Singing Teacher
​Rosario Mawby studied at the University of Chester and gained a BA (Hons) in
Popular Music with Drama and Theatre Studies degree.
Throughout her time at
Chester she was an ambassador of the music course as well as an active member of
the music course band that showcased itself at a number of events across the UK.
After graduating she gained a degree in MA Performance at the contemporary
conservatoire, Leeds College of Music. Having recently finished her degree she
was quickly accepted back at the University of Chester to undertake a Doctorate
in Music, specialising within Popular Music and Performance.
During this time Rosario has developed her professional profile under the
guidance of voice specialist Professor Louise Gibbs. Her professional
engagements include singing Popular Music, Jazz, Classical and Musical Theatre
in a variety of venues and in a range of ensembles. She is a vocalist with
several bands, which includes BMusical’s 400th Hour, working with soul, rhythm
and blues bands as well as running her own jazz ensemble derived of musicians
spread across the UK.
