LIPA 4-19 choir perform with Paul McCartney

Students from LIPA 4-19 took to the stage to support Sir Paul McCartney at this week's homecoming gig at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

Twenty students – aged between 8 and 15 – who are part of LIPA 4-19's Singing Company performed with LIPA's lead patron during a version of the Christmas classic Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time.

Kerry Watkins, head of LIPA 4-19 says "The choir were ecstatic to be performing alongside Paul. It was an amazing opportunity for our students, who are all part of the LIPA 4-19 Singing Company, taught by Katie Ellen Dabrowski. They were so excited to perform on such a big stage in front of thousands of people."
